‘Tis the season for lively art and welcoming public spaces with PARK and The City of Lougheed’s vibrant new experience, SUPERPOP. Immerse yourself in a +150 ft wall mural and a complementing patio space with picnic tables that provide ample photo opportunities while catching up with your crew under the summer rays. The project marks an exciting new beginning for the Burnaby community expansion, and what is Canada’s largest new master planned community that will feature housing, shopping, dining, public plazas, and more.

To bring PARK’s vision to life, we collaborated with BC-based artist and longtime friend, Tierney Milne, to design and paint the SUPERPOP space. SUPERPOP is free and now open to the public at Burnaby's The City of Lougheed all summer long. Remember to tag us in your photos for a chance to be featured on our stories!

Tierney Milne

Tierney Milne is a Montreal-born, Vancouver-based artist and muralist who focuses on interrupting people’s day with positivity. With a background in Psychology and Illustration and Design, Tierney is armed with a keen interest in how simple shapes and colours affect our wellbeing. No matter the medium, she aims to inspire the inner child and combine intentional compositions, bold palettes and vibrant patterns to engage imagination and brighten viewers’ days.
Previous select clients include McDonald’s, lululemon, Today at Apple, Purolator, Foot Locker and a variety of mural festivals in Canada and USA.
