This February, PARK is partnering with the Chinook Blast Winter Festival to brighten Calgary’s winter with a series of outdoor light-up art installations spotlighting the work of local artists and creators.
The colourful, neon light creations will be free to the public to enjoy throughout the entire six weeks of the festival, providing a unique experience for all ages after-hours in the dark winter months. With the displays divided into five components across the downtown core and East Village, pedestrians will have plenty of opportunities to snap an Instagram-worthy photo while discovering various locations around the city. PARK would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the team that made this project possible: Mark Lang, Norma Lang, Jim & Maggie Lang, Shaun Vang, Nik Maciurzynski, Shea McNaughton, Katrina Martinez and Rachel McIntosh.
Pop-Up Installations
With additional pop-up installations being planned throughout the duration of the Festival, you have a reason to check out each installation again and again from now through March!
